The Christmas pixie tradition is something we did to get our little boys excited about giving, with the extra fun of secretly sneaking to drop things off anonymously for 12 days – usually nights. We gave one thing on the first day two on the second, etc., for 12 days. At first we started 12 days before Christmas, but sometimes people go out of town, so it’s good to find out if your people that you choose will be leaving, or just start on December 1 and give them a head-start on celebrating Christmas. We tried to find someone who might have reason to need some extra cheer, but in the end, that applies to almost everyone. We didn’t give expensive things, just fun, little ornaments, food, or whatever. Usually not food at first, until they are pretty sure you have good intentions.On the 12th day, you can reveal who you are, or leave them guessing, whatever you prefer. We tried to keep it anonymous, but sometimes we got found out, lol. This was a lot of fun
